| What time do the doors open? |
The doors will open at 9:30
a.m. for the 10:00 a.m. Liturgy and 1:00 p.m. for the 1:30 p.m. Liturgy. |
| Where do the children go
after entering the building? |
To their classrooms |
| Is there a strict dress code
for girls and boys? |
No. The girls can wear a
white dress of any kind. Girls may NOT wear gloves during the Communion
Mass. Boys may wear any color suit (most boys wear a black suit). |
| How long is the Communion
Mass? |
Parents should plan on the
Mass being about an hour and a half. This will allow enough time after
Mass for pictures. |
| Where do the parents and
family members sit in church? |
The First Communicants and
parents will have reserved seating. Siblings and other family members can
sit anywhere else in the church. |
| Can I take pictures or
videotape the Mass? |
No flash photography is
allowed! People should remain in their seats while taking pictures during
Mass. You may set up a video camera in the balcony. A DVD of the Communion
Mass will also be available to purchase. Order forms will be sent to
families closer to the day. Families may stay after Mass to take pictures
on the altar and with Fr. Danaher. A class composite picture will be taken
the Friday after Communion for St. Philip the Apostle School students.

Yes! Bring the sacramentals
that you would like blessed to the Communion Mass. During the Mass, Fr.
Danaher will ask you to hold up those items and he will then bless them. |
